Our Cabin
Rent our unique privately-owned log cabin as a holiday lodging.
It offers total privacy and is perfect for couples and families. It is situated
on our 10 acre property surrounded by lush forest and scenic views of the
mountains, with occasional glimpses of the magnificent wildlife of interior BC.
In the wintertime, you just put on your skis and go cross country skiing right
from the door. While during the summer and fall, you can hike for miles on
the Crown land directly behind our property. Daily rates include a
scrumptious breakfast selected from Barbara's special Breakfast Menu of the
Week. It's
the perfect getaway!
We are located near
Heffley Creek, British Columbia,
Canada which is approximately 54 Kilometers
from
Kamloops and 8 Kilometers from
Sun Peaks, or
around a 45 minute drive to Kamloops and 10 minutes to Sun Peaks. Sun Peaks is
the popular all-seasons resort that offers year round activities such as golfing
(18 hole championship course), fishing, hunting, mountain biking, hiking,
skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and dog sledding.

DESCRIPTION:
Our unique cozy log cabin and
wooden furniture were all built by Mark. It's a beautiful piece of
craftsmanship. Our cabin is located nearby our private house and comes
fully equipped. It can comfortably sleep 5.
Conditions: Guests may arrive on any day of the week.
Only persons above the age of 19 are permitted to rent the cabin.
Breakfast is included and other meals may be prepared for an extra fee.
Menus and prices are to be discussed in advance with Barbara.

utensils, pots and pans, matching dishes, glasses and cutlery, and a kitchen
table and chairs
Bathroom:
Separate with 1 toilet, 1 basin and 1 shower
Balcony
with wooden chairs to view scenic forest and mountains
Amenities:
Wood stove, radio, linens and towels included

Next to the owners house
General
Policies:

No
smoking is allowed.

Dogs and other pets are
allowed but must be approved by the owners in advance.

There is no specific
quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of owners and
neighbors.

Housekeeping is provided
prior to arrival and after departure. No housekeeping is provided
during a stay.

We are not responsible
for any accidents occurring in the cabin due to misuse of equipment

Rates:
Reservation Policy: 1 night's rent is required to complete the
booking (balance due 30 days in advance).
Payment
Policies: Payment in cash, personal cheques or traveler's cheques are
accepted. Credit cards are not accepted at this time.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel
less than 30 days prior, the entire booking fee is forfeit unless the room ca be
re-booked.

Barbara will contact you directly to confirm your accommodation on the dates
requested and to arrange for a deposit and hold the reservation upon receipt of
1 night's booking fee (either cheque or traveler's cheque). The booking fee is
forfeit if reservations are cancelled in less than 30 (Thirty) days before the
reservation date time.
